It’s not always easy tracking down a good site to player poker on. Plenty of sites, from the Pacific to the Atlantic and beyond, offer good quality services and secure cash payments – or so they claim. Really, the only way to discover which Pacific sites are actually any good is to read reviews.
Luckily, there’s one good site out there on which to play poker online, and that’s Pacific Poker. And here’s a good review of it. Convenient, no?
Pacific Poker is an extremely popular poker room, run online by 888 dot com, one of the major players in the online poker world. A heavily populated site and very well advertised, Pacific Poker plays host to hundreds and hundreds of newcomers to the game of poker.
As such, it makes for some easy pickings if you’re an experienced player. If you know your stuff and can bluff newcomers out of their money you may find Pacific gaming to be worth the time to sign up. Just be wary of the occasional player who defies all logic and throws your game off completely, causing you to lose a big pot. Just because you’re playing against newbies doesn’t mean you should become complacent.
Beyond easy pickings this site offers a number of other advantages as well. For one, it has a heavy concentration on Hold’Em poker. So if you’re an expert at the game it might be worth jumping in on, as its customer service is excellent and the software the games are run on is solid (if a little bland to look at). It offers some decent joining bonuses, including invitation bonuses for getting friends in on the game as well ($50 per friend – not too shabby, really). And if you’re concerned about payment options, don’t be: you can fund your account with Firepay, Visa or Mastercard, PaySafeC, and a number of other secure payment companies.
So give it a try, if you think you can take on the competition. You can stand to make a great deal of money off newcomers who don’t know how to read a hand.
